Taking Care of Your Harry Potter Tattoo
After getting your Harry Potter tattoo, it’s important to take good care of it during the healing process.
Here are some tips for taking care of your new Harry Potter tattoo:
Keep it Clean
For the first few days after getting your tattoo, you should wash it gently with mild soap and warm water. Be sure to pat it dry with a clean towel, and avoid rubbing or scratching the tattoo. After the first few days, you can switch to an unscented lotion or ointment to keep the tattoo moisturized.
Avoid Sun Exposure
While your tattoo is healing, you should avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or tanning beds. This can cause the colors to fade or the tattoo to become damaged. Once the tattoo is fully healed, you should apply sunscreen to the area whenever you’re going to be outside for an extended period of time.
Don’t Pick at It
As your tattoo heals, it may start to scab or peel. It’s important to resist the urge to pick at it, as this can cause scarring or infection. Instead, let the scabs and peeling skin fall off naturally. You should also avoid wearing tight clothing or jewelry that could rub against the tattoo.
Attend Follow-Up Appointments
Your tattoo artist may schedule a follow-up appointment to check on the healing process and touch up any areas that need it. It’s important to attend these appointments and follow the artist’s instructions for aftercare. This can help ensure that your tattoo looks its best for years to come.
Conclusion
Getting a Harry Potter tattoo is a great way to show your love for the series and its magical world. With so many options for designs and styles, you’re sure to find a tattoo that speaks to you. JK Rowling is so awesome. She did such an amazing job with those books. On of the main reasons they did so well, I think, is because they touch on so many different traditions of humanity over the ages. Even if people are not familiar with these traditions, they still touch on some ancient cellular menories…in a good way. Add that to a fabulous bunch of story lines and the fact that it’s Love, after all is said and done, that is the real Magic
I can see why somebody might want that tattooed on their body…

Hello. I’m a big fan of the Harry Potter series and have considered a tattoo in reference to. I love the Hogwarts crest especially but one idea i really considered is Harry’s Owl, Hedwig. I like owls in general but having Hedwig would be pretty cool. There would have to be another element to add to reference the series otherwise people would think it’s just an owl. I’ll take any suggestions. Thanks!
