The title of Fantastic Beasts 3 implies that the film will focus on Dumbledore’s secrets. What if it’s actually about Grindelwald’s lies?

The Fantastic Beasts 3 title has set fans into a frenzy of attempting to figure out what Dumbledore’s secrets are. However, it is much more likely that the newest entry to the Harry Potter universe is about Grindelwald’s falsehoods.
J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows already has a thorough biography of the Dumbledore family.
While the last part of the Harry Potter series contains some information on Dumbledore’s past. The novels provide much more about the Hogwarts headmaster’s history.
Rowling has built a strong opponent in Gellert Grindelwald thus far. While Voldemort and Grindelwald are both powerful and a threat to the wizarding world. Grindelwald uses persuasion and manipulation rather than terrible spells.
Fantastic Beasts 2 shows off Grindelwald’s cleverness during his crafty call to action at the Lestrange tomb gathering in Paris. Grindelwald’s arguments are convincing enough to get Queenie to join his cause. Arguably one of the most heartbreaking losses in Fantastic Beasts 2.
Grindelwald and Dumbledore
Since the last film offered fans a taste of what Grindelwald is capable of with his power. It’s conceivable that “Dumbledore’s secrets” will not be what viewers expect.
Grindelwald would go to any length to tarnish Dumbledore’s name in order to maintain people on his side when Dumbledore’s opposition comes his way. Given the amount of knowledge released about Dumbledore, his background. Even Dumbledore’s relationship with Grindelwald.
It appears doubtful that there are many more mysteries to be disclosed about Dumbledore. As a result, it is quite conceivable that Grindelwald is deceiving Credence about his Dumbledore status.
From the start, it is apparent that Grindelwald wields his authority most effectively when he employs others, especially Credence.
Furthermore, it was revealed in Fantastic Beasts 2 that Dumbledore is unable to confront. Grindelwald owing to a blood contract the two formed when they were young.
Grindelwald is using the blood covenant as a stopgap tactic to keep Dumbledore at bay for as long as possible. This is why Dumbledore originally dispatched Newt Scamander to find Credence and Grindelwald.
Grindelwald will have to battle much more discreetly to get Dumbledore out of the way because neither can directly engage in combat with the other.
Fantastic Beasts 3: There Are No Secrets, Just Grindelwald’s Lies

Creating Credibility Dumbledore’s sibling might make the same error as in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by violating the Harry Potter canon.
Percival Dumbledore was sentenced to life in Azkaban in 1890 for aggressively retaliating against a gang of muggle lads who abused Ariana, the youngest Dumbledore, and Albus’ sister.
Ariana suppressed her power after that and became prone to fits. Culminating in the death of their mother Kendra in 1899. Credence was born “about” 1901, which does not fit into this timeframe at all.
It’s unclear what Grindelwald’s motivations are for lying to Credence about his Dumbledore ancestry. It might be to keep Credence on his side so that he can use Credence’s obscurus to wreak havoc on Albus.
Hopefully, all of this will be disclosed in Fantastic Beasts 3. But it’s very doubtful given Rowling’s penchant for withholding information until the last minute.
Re-enacting the Credence/Dumbledore story twist could only benefit the series. Hopefully, Dumbledore’s secrets will not be a rehash of the material provided in the novels,
But rather concentrate on the lies that Grindelwald says about Dumbledore in order to carry out his deadly scheme.
