Elder Wand Ownership had several owners throughout the Harry Potter franchise. Here’s every wizard who has owned or possessed the famed Deathstick.

The Elder Wand is the most powerful wand in the Harry Potter universe, and everyone who has used it is listed here. Because of the fanaticism around the novels and subsequent film adaptations, J.K. Rowling’s book series has become one of the most successful franchises in history.
The original Harry Potter film franchise comprises of eight films produced between 2001 and 2011. Warner Bros. is still producing new films centered in this universe, with the Fantastic Beasts series taking place several decades before Harry Potter’s plot.
The Elder Wand is a defining feature of the whole franchise. Legend has it that the Deathstick got its name. The Peverell brothers outwitted Death and received whatever present they could think of. Death crafted the Elder Wand in response to the eldest brother’s request for the most powerful wand ever produced.
The Resurrection Stone was given to the second brother, while the Cloak of Invisibility was given to the youngest brother. The Deathly Hallows are made up of these three items.
While not all wands are connected to their respective owners, only the Elder Wand’s proper possessor may completely master it.
The mythical nature of the Elder Wand’s abilities made it a sought-after object for power-hungry wizards early in its existence. This initially led to the assumption that in order to master the Elder Wand, a wizard must slay the present possessor.
Instead, the Elder Wand may be transmitted from one wizard to another by simply disarming it. With a centuries-long history, several wizards have been known to be the possessor of the Elder Wand.
14. Antioch Peverell

Antioch Peverell is Elder Wand’s first master. While tradition has it that Death constructed the mighty wand for him, other wizards, notably Albus Dumbledore, thought Antioch built it himself. The pure-blood wizard’s time with the Elder Wand swiftly led to his killing of someone he got into a quarrel with.
Antioch became intoxicated in celebration of his victory and propagated the legend that the Elder Wand was fashioned by Death itself. This bragging prompted another wizard to murder Antioch in his sleep in order to obtain the Elder Wand for himself, but the identity of the killer is unknown.
13. Emeric The Evil

During the Middle Ages, Emeric the Evil was a great Dark Wizard. He obtained the Elder Wand at an unknown point in time, but he utilized it to fight England during the Early Middle Ages. The specifics of his conquests are unknown, but he was finally murdered in a fight with the next possessor of the Elder Wand.
12. Egbert The Egregious

Following his slaying of Emeric, Egbert the Egregious became the possessor of the Elder Wand. Harry Potter mastered the formidable wand, but he hasn’t divulged much about what he accomplished with it. Dumbledore implies that his time with the Elder Wand was brief. It is unknown who vanquished the wicked wizard and quickly took the Elder Wand after him.
11. Godelot

Godelot then obtained the Elder Wand, raising the possibility that he was the one who murdered Egbert. Godelot, unlike most previous owners, did not employ the Elder Wand for conquests.
Instead, after learning about the powers of Horcruxes, he authored the book “Magick Moste Evile” (the book that taught Voldemort about Horcruxes) and filled it with evil magic material. Godelot perished in the Middle Ages after being kept in a cellar by the Elder Wand’s new possessor.
10. Hereward

According to J.K. Rowling’s wealth of Harry Potter history, Hereward is the next possessor of the Elder Wand. Hereward is Godelot’s son, and he imprisoned his father in order to obtain the Elder Wand.
So yet, no Harry Potter literature has examined Hereward’s achievements with the Elder Wand. He eventually lost the Elder Wand, but who stole it from him or how he was beaten is unclear.
9. Barnabas Deverill

In the eighteenth century, Barnabas Deverill acquired the Elder Wand. According to Albus Dumbledore, his experience with the wand contributed to his image as a “fearsome warlock.” However, it is unknown what Barnabas did with the Elder Wand that earned him such notoriety.
8. Loxias

After killing Barnabas Deverill in the eighteenth century, Loxias became the owner of Harry Potter’s notorious Elder Wand. The Dark Wizard arrived to master the wand and used it to eliminate every foe who stood in his way. Loxias is the one who came up with the term Deathstick for the Elder Wand.
It is unclear how many individuals Loxias killed with the Elder Wand or who killed him precisely. Many wizards, including his mother, claimed responsibility for his demise.
7. Arcus Or Livius

Loxias’ murderer and the next possessor of the Elder Wand, according to Xenophilius Lovegood, was most likely Arcus or Livius. It isn’t much known about each probable Elder Wand owner. Either of them was slain by an unknown wizard, allowing the Elder Wand to pass to the next generation.
